HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) Compliant

In August 2005, Cold Star became the third food carrier in Canada and the first in western Canada to be awarded certification of the HACCP-based Trucking Food Safety Program developed by Kasar Canada along with the Canadian Food Inspection Agency and Canadian Trucking Alliance.

Since its initial certification, Cold Star has consistently exceeded the expectations and requirements of its annual audit to retain this certification. Cold Star has a full-time, dedicated quality assurance coordinator that oversees the program and ensures our customers' refrigerated supply chain is maintained from pick-up to delivery.

Safety is important to us, we pride ourselves in running well maintained equipment and have professional drivers and skilled warehouse workers to ensure that safety remains a priority throughout all our shipping and storage operations.
