Cold Star Freight Systems Inc. specializes in hauling perishable food product between Vancouver and all parts of the Lower Mainland of British Columbia, Vancouver Island, and the Gulf Islands of Georgia Strait.

Kelly Hawes established Cold Star in 1999 and since then the company has experienced steady growth, now employing over one hundred staff in four locations.

We built Cold Star by paying close attention to:

The whole Cold Star team is committed to building trusted relationships with our customers, listening closely to their needs, and providing them with innovative freight solutions. We also strongly believe that we have a responsibility to our communities. Food is a shared resource and a basic human need. It provides us with an opportunity to break down barriers, to share and connect with others. This is what our Community Food Project is all about.
